Our Team
Our dedicated Team
At Folona, we believe that great change begins when a group of individuals comes together with a shared purpose
Behind every tree planted, every person trained, and every child inspired is a team of dedicated individuals who call Nakivale home. We are young refugees, community leaders, and passionate changemakers who believe that the people closest to the problem are also the ones closest to the solution. Each member of the Folona team brings unique skills from permaculture farming and financial management to arts mentorship and community mobilization but we are united by a shared purpose: to build a more sustainable future for our community. Together with our volunteers, trainers, and village coordinators, we show up every day not because it's easy, but because we believe in the power of ordinary people doing extraordinary things when given the chance.
